Members of the Oakland Cemetery Association plan their second annual gathering on Decoration Day, Sunday, May 9, 2004, at 9:00 AM. Former residents of the Bend, or anyone with ties to Hookers Bend, are invited to attend the informal gathering to share memories and renew old friendships. To avoid interference with church attendance, the group meets only for about an hour or so. If you are interested in visiting, DON'T BE LATE! An hour just isn'tvery long.
