    3. David, This is what I have on the family. Isaac Cornelius "Neil" Pool/e was born in 1854 in Meriweather county, Georgia, the son of Isaac Pool/e and Mary Y. Connell. He was one of eight children. One of his brothers, John McFarland Pool/e was my grandfather. I believe their father was killed in the Civil War and most all of these children moved west to Alabama and some on into Hardin County. In 1878 in Hardin county, Neil married Lydia Jane Haggard, daughter of Hope Haggard and Mary Ann Pool. They had eight children: Mary Ellen,1878-1964; Elzie J., 1881-1957; Luther M, 1883-?; Nona Maude, 1886-1963; Melvin M., 1888-1945; Alvie E., 1891-1892; Lillie L. 1893-?; Bessie, 1896-?. Mary Ellen married Walter Lucanus Love, Elzie J. married Sarah A., Nona Maude married John Perry Garner, Lillie L. married Fielding Carey, Bessie married John Hardin. Lydia Jane Haggard Pool died 4 May 1906 and Neil remarried to Betty Cagle, born about 1874. I do not know her parents names or her full name. Since she was 32 years old when she married Neil, Cagle may have been her name by a previous marriage. If you can fill in any data on her I would appreciate it. P.S. Wonder if thei Betty might be the Tabitha Elizabeth you mentioned? Thanks David Frazier

    3. David, I am sorry, I didn't make my self clear. Aunt Betty WAS the Tabitha Elizabeth I mentioned (copied again below). I didn't realize she was that old when she first married. Her father was very old when she was born and died when she was about 4 years old. David David After the death of his wife and daughters of smallpox in the winter of 1873, John Cagle, 01/01/1813- 01/09/1879, married the second time to his cousin, Deborah Tabitha Elizabeth Cagle Tidwell, 11/18/1840 - 04/29/1822. Deborah's husband, William H. Tidwell, may have been killed during the Civil War. On December 7, 1874, John and Debby were married. To this union, two children were born: Tabitha Elizabeth, 06/13/1875 - 05/13/1954 and John Lewis,1877-1858. Betty also married William Tidwell, Granville Whitlow and Dock Copeland. I don't know much about Poole, can you fill me in?
