How uncanny that this message just came across today, as not more than two hours ago I was on the phone with my cousin by marriage, Cherokee Chief Leon Jones, former Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee. He married into one the Cherokee lines of our family. I'm going to the Cherokee Indian Reservation to visit the Chief and his wife and other Allison relatives there in just two weeks! Thus far I've identified what appears to be three different ALLISON lines of the Cherokee, all from our own family.
