This Month the United States celebrates the 228th anniversary of our independence. Keeping this theme in mind, on Thursday, July the 15th 2004 at 7pm the Hardin County Historical Society will meet in the Welch Room of the Hardin County Library. Our speaker will be Herbert Perry who will talk about the Sons of Revolution. Herb will discuss how to join the organization and the benefits thereof. Herb and others will be available to help you determine if you have an ancestor who was a soldier in the American Revolution and how you might obtain information in that regard.
