I wonder if Patty White Wyatt could shed some light on the White questions. She is my mother's cousin and the daughter of Ollie Allen and Charlie Allen White, and grew up in the Hookers Bend community. White Almost 60 years ago, my neighbor and sunday school teacher for many years was Aunt Mollie Sanford White who married Reuben White. Her sister, also a neighbor, Mattie Sanford married an Orr. Reuben White and Mr. Orr both died before I was born. The Sanfords and Orrs originated on the west side of the river near Sulfer Well I think. Reuben White was the son of Thomas and Martha Tubbs White. The Orrs, Sanfords, Whites and Cobles were connected. I believe the Coble and Tubbs families probably originated in Decatur or Perry Counties. I had 268 messages. I have printed your notes to be sure that I don't delete one of them by mistake, and later this afternoon I will write again and attach my information on the White and Orr Families. I am not related to either family, but both sides of my mothers family came from Hardin County in 1919. I have third cousins from Hardin County that married Orr's. Then to top that my fathers baby sister married William D. Sanford and Uncle W.D.'s mother was Mary Edith White. So, as soon as I clear these other notes I will write back.
