The 8th C. D. of Hardin Co., TN in 1840 was located in the southeast corner of the county, bounded by Wayne Co. on the east, Alabama on the south, Tennessee River on the west and mostly the 7th C. D. on the north. The major centers of population appear to be Boyds Landing and Walnut Grove.
