Bettye, Go to the Tennessee State Library and Archives website, then to the genealogy section, and you will find information on ordering records. It is $ 20.00 for those of us who live out of state, but only $10.00 for Tennessee taxpayers. For the Military Land Grants you need the number from the index and some other info. If you do not have a copy of the Historian, I will be glad to give you the info. JaneA self-appointed family historian and proud of it.
