    1. Re: [TNHARDIN] TNHARDIN Digest, Vol 2, Issue 133
    2. My thanks to Henry and Carolyn for their responses..... it seems to me that Archibald WEST and family were in Wayne County, KY in the 1820's. But they passed thru TN on their way to IN. So was that a trip back home for Elizabeth after she was married in Wayne Cty to Archibald? So why not just get married in TN? Why is she in Wayne Cty? Why is she listed as Betsy Denny (or Downey) - a previous marriage? And why is John Caldwell her surety? Where was her own father?????? If only her father had signed the marriage certificate!!! She comes to IN along with Alexander Worley and his wife Sally (Downey) - could Eliz. be the widow of Sally's relative? Help !!! :-) Thanks for any clues anyone can give. Again - Eliz. WORLEY b. 1802 or 1805 KY or TN...... janet
