    2. I show the Worleys originally were of Botetourt Co. VA. If you have the same documentation please let me know as I'm researching several Hardin TN families originally of Botetourt Co. Jim Worley exchanged information with me back in 2002. I'm pasting the e-mail address I had for him back then as JWorley498@aol.com If you are unsuccessful at reaching Jim then please let me know. Robert Russell died in 1850 Hardin Co. TN. There were 27 heirs to his estate. Alexander Russell (his brother) and Michael Worley were first designated as his Executors. Court Record dated 3 June 1850 they renounced Executorship of Robert Russell's estate. July 1, 1850 Will of Robert Russell presented in open court and the Executorship being renounced by Michael Worley and Alexander Russell . The ? is contedted by Robert R. Russell and Robertson Winchester who having entered the bond with the security at law required it is ordered by the court that the clerk be required to make a transcript of the proceeding of this court in this cause. The rest is hard to read but ended with there would be a trial. March 3, 1851 - " James W. Cantrell appointed guardian for Anna Worley, Stephen S. Hays, Southern Historical Press, Inc., Easley, SC, 1985). These are notes from my files when attempting to see the relationship of the Worleys to the Russells: In the Hardin Co. TN 1850 Census, Michael Worley was 56 years of age and born in VA. His wife Lavina was was 37 b. in NC. All of his children with him were born TN. the oldest was 18. Michael was on the 1830 Hardin (Yardin) Co., TN. as well as his father George Worley. Also on the 1830 were Abraham (brother), John (brother). John showed as Sr. and Jr. George Worley was born 1760 in Va. and he married Elizabeth ?. Their children: John b. 1790-1800 Va. d. 1845, Michael b. 1794 Va. d. aft 1860, Abraham b. 1800 Va. m. Fanny, Ann b. 1802 Va., Jaraninah b. 1804 Va., Margaret b. 2-17-1806 d. 12-16-1884 m. Jacob Vanhoose, Isaac b. 1809 Ky. m. Elizabeth Crotts 1832 m. 1852 Matilda, Sarah b. 1811 m. Lewis Crotts (they too are on the 1850 Hardin), Eliza b. 1813 m. ? Crotts (the reason her husband is unknown is apparently he died and she was living with Isaac Worley 1850 showing "idiotic") The son of Isaac and Matilda...George E. Worley is buried at Pyburn's in Hardin Co. Michael and Lavina's son John V.A. Worley is buried at Worley Cemetery in Crump, Tn. (this is where my brother lives and this is McNairy Co.). One more...Rebecca C. Worley was living with Pinckney G. Nichols and Lucinda M. his wife on the 1850 Hardin. Next door was Robert R. Russell. Now in reading this info on the Worley's it is said that some of the grandchildren of George Worley were born in N.C. I didn't find that on the 1850 census in Hardin. All children showed born in TN. The Worley's were in VA. moved to KY. possibly moved to N.C. but definitely ended up in Hardin Co., TN by 1830 Census or before. The oldest child was Abraham's and that one was 23 born in TN. (1827). Three of George Worley's children married Crotts. Lewis Crotts was 41 on the 1850 Hardin Census born TN. There was also a Valentine Crotts 44 born in N.C. That would put him in N.C. about 1816. George Worley in 1810 Census for Wayne Co., Ky. 20210-31010. No 1800 Census in VA.
