Hi List; I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Old Williamson House. It was located on the "Old Stage Road" on the way to or between Purdy, I believe. It was said to have been built by the Adams family that Adamsville in McNairy Co., was named after. They are related to my Hopper and Williamson families. My Williamson relation owned it later on and I would like to find out more about the house and the Williamsons who lived there and ran it. I have a picture and a small article about it. It says that it served as a stopping place for travelers on the old stage road. It was supposed to be a big house. I have been told that my gr, gr, gr, gr uncle John Bell Williamson was the last to live there and that it burned. I would appreciate any information about it and the Williamson family. Or if anyone could tell me how to get information about it I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much. Charlotte Christensen.
