Bob, I have a Seamon 1913-1996 with a son James for whom I have no dates. Is it possible there is some other name? This from the Joseph Stricklin branch. 100% more likely, it is the person listed as Russell Strickler, age 6, in Dist 2 of Wayne Co in 1920. Somebody corrected it on Ancestry's census database. Father is Iley age 32, Mother, Flora, age 32. Sister Maybel age 11, and little brother W.A. 1 yr 11 months. By 1930, the household includes 2 more kids, Rathie Nell, age 9, Peggy Gene, age 3 AND Ilo's father, Amos age 79 (widow, married at age 17) [1910 census lists wife as Sarah H., 1920 as Sary J. age 69]. Additionally, in their household was Effie Norton, who as 8 yo in 1910. In 1880, they are in Dist 1 of Wayne Co. with children Leander age 9 (aka Lee A.) and James F. age 6. In 1900, Dist 2 of Wayne Co., Ilo is Eley, b. Aug 1887 living with Father A.J. and mother S.F. and two unrelated men who are listed as Inmates. I am guessing, but I think these are all variations of Eli. Anyway, I hope this helps you.
