Carolyn and Gail, I have a Charles G. Alexander married to Harriett Brawley the parents of Benjamin Cathie Alexander. Benjamin Cathie married Martha Angeline Clayton and they had ten children. The Clayton line is one of my maternal lines and I have a cousin that's grandmother was Ollie Pearl Alexander that married Mitchell Perry Newman. The only reason I have this information is because the connection to Martha Angeline Clayton and her connection to the Bingham's. Benjamin Cathie and Martha Angeline are both buried in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Hardin County, Tennessee and Ollie Pearl is buried in the Newman Cemetery in Hardin County, Tennessee.
