I do noy know if it was hardin county or not. His mother is Frances haynes and Father John Henry Haynes. John Henry is the son of Hiram Haynes b. 1820's. I have John Henry as dying in 1880, and then this child was born in 1884. So I know there is no way he is the father but benj. haynes was always told he was. We had a great aunt say years ago that the father was a shelby man that was a doctor, but that was all that was ever said and Frances Haynes moved to Madison County at some point I think. I really dont know a whole lot more. > dh > I am not related to the Haynes family, however, if you can give me a birth > date on some of these people I will try to help. > David > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <dhl53@jaxnet.net> > To: <TNHARDIN@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Monday, October 29, 2007 10:48 AM > Subject: [TNHARDIN] haynes > > >> I am looking for information on a John Henry Haynes? he married a >> francis. It appears that Henry James Haynes is the one who married Francis Qualls. Henry shows as a 12 year old in the 1860 census, his parents,Hiram and Sarah are both age 30. In 1870, household 89 is Henry J. Haynes age 23 and wife Frances age 23 with son Andrew L. age 1. Hiram and Sarah are in HH 91, he is 44 and she is 40, living next door is John T. Shelby, age 38 and his family. In 1880, I find Francis Haynes, age 34 with here children, Andrew, Mary, James, Isaac, and Laura. There is a Benjamin F. Shelby living not too far away. I find an Arthur B. Haynes age 34 in the 1820 census of Madison Co., TN.
