William must have been a common name because it seems my dad ,William Lee Kiddy had a dad named William born in 1870 in Hardin County. At one time the family must have left TN for Mississippi and he died there. Ella was left with a houseful of kids that I still don't know all the names of. I think my dad was the baby and adopted out when his dad died. I heard Ella was Indian decent but don't know if that was a rumor or not. My dad seems to have left TN, came to Mo, and married Salome Treece from the Portageville area. I know very little about the Kiddy side. Thank you Jana Kiddy Braswell
