    3. Don't know if this is any of yours, but there is a death certificate online for a John Kiddie of Jackson Co Mo. He died 26 Sept 1887 age 47 yrs. born in Scotland. Cause of death was alcholism. It doesn't give parents names, but says he died in K.C. Hospital. I take that to be Kansas City Hospital. There are lots of Kiddies/Kiddys/McKiddie and even Kiddoo listed in familysearch.org. lots of them born in Scotland. You might find something there. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jana Braswell" <jbraz@att.net> To: <TNHARDIN@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 17, 2007 7:30 AM Subject: [TNHARDIN] researching family of William Kiddy married EllaElizabeth Conway > William must have been a common name > because it seems my dad ,William Lee > Kiddy had a dad named William born in 1870 > in Hardin County. > > > > At one time the family must have left TN > for Mississippi and he died there. > Ella was left with a houseful of kids that > I still don't know all the names > of. 3. Betty, I do not know if it is or not because I have just begun to research. I started a few years ago and did not follow through for whatever reason. I know alcohol was predominant in the kiddy family. I remember as a kid we all came down for a visit to mo and the women made the men go out in the field to sleep it off. I remember as a kid the loud racket the men made. My dad had a problem with whiskey when I was younger. He died with lung cancer. When you say online where is that located? I have some added Kiddy ancestors from Shirley and I have some to add to it. If you have any more to add, it would be appreciated. Do you have Kiddy ancestors? -----Original Message----- From: tnhardin-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:tnhardin-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Betty Downing Sent: Sunday, November 18, 2007 7:13 PM To: jbraz@TidyB.com; tnhardin@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TNHARDIN] researching family of William Kiddy marriedEllaElizabeth Conway Don't know if this is any of yours, but there is a death certificate online for a John Kiddie of Jackson Co Mo.
