I'm looking for parents and siblings of John Walker Shelby b 1865 Hardin Co., TN d 1912 Craighead Co., AR, and his wife, Elizabeth M. White (b 1867 d 1958). Elizabeth is believed to be the d/o James and Martha A. Holland White. After John Shelby's death in 1912 Elizabeth married T. P. Cox. Their son, James Bert Shelby (b 1900 Sadris, TN d 1986 Craighead Co., AR) is the grandfather of a friend. I'm helping him trace his ancestry in Hardin Co., TN. Any help with this family would be appreciated.
