Rena, Saw your message. Are you talking about the same David Walker who resided later at Christian Co., MO? As you probably know, Christian Co. was formed from Greene Co. during the 1850s, if I remember correctly. David Walker was a sheriff there and resided in a community called Linden, northeast of Ozark. I remember him because it's said he was the leader of the bushwackers. Also, my own family lived there at the same time and are buried in the abandoned Walker-Gardner cemetery at Linden. Lastly, there was a wagon train that came out of TN to S.W. MO, and some of the Linden families came with it. Same man, or same family as yours?
