The history on the USS Peosta travelling the Tennessee River during the civil war refers to a John Watson who was taken prisoner. Does anyone out there know where the prisoners were taken. I seem to be at a dead end. I think this John may be my great-great uncle and he has a fairly colorful history out west after the civil war. I would love to write his story for future generations.
