I am researching all McCanless/McCandless families in TN and the families and ancestors of A.B. Hardin and B.F. Hardin who were from Maury Co. and escaped the law after murdering a man in 1825. Some of their relatives were arrested but they were the actual killers and they went to Texas and became quite rich as a judge (A.B.) and sheriff (B.F.) There are many McCs in TN and I am researching every family I can find. Ron McCandless
