I do not know the connection of the Ledbetters to this family (if any). It is believed that Francis Marion Ledbetter is the son of Henry Clay Ledbetter who is on the l850-l880 McNairy Co,Tennessee census. Francis Marion Ledbetter married ca l869 Tenn/Miss to Eliza Ann (Smith) Roundtree. This family is then on l870 Lauderdale Co,Ala census. She was m/l to Samuel F. Roundtree. The children went to live with uncle Henry Harrison Ledbetter after both parents died.
