Benjamin is related to DAVID WILSON for whom Wilson Co, TN, is named. Papers given to Linda Gayle Wilson Heukendorf of Oklahoma by Samuel A WILSON who died in Nashville in 1994 seem to connect JOHN WILSON to her WILSON line. Sam WILSON gave his home and a large estate to Belmont University in Nashville. Sam received the information from martrha Easley Frith Craig(Mrs. Robert Percy Craig) in 1925. It was her family's history. Inside the notebook was a piece of paper with the following names and dates. It was inscribed at the bottom "Written by JOHN WILSON our great grandfather."
