Independent Appeal Newspaper, Wed., Jan. 7, 1998 CLIFFORD THOMAS REYNOLDS, 73, of Selmer, died Dec. 29, 1997 of a heart attack at his home. He was a retired carpenter and farmer, a member of the Forty Forks Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wed. at Shackelford Chapel with Scott Pearl officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Selmer. Pallbearers were Bobby Mask, Robert Chambers, Stanley Floyd, and Larry Hockaday. Mr., Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents Lonna Mae Jernigan Reynolds and William Reynolds and one brother, Cletus Reynolds. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Hockaday Reynolds; two daughters, Mary Ann Carroll and Karren Currie, both of Selmer, three sons, Jan Banks, Byron Banks and Danny Reynolds, all of Selmer; two sisters, Martha Kudera of Hammond, IN, and Dorothy Peoples of Calumet City, IL; four brothers, Hershel Reynolds of Hammond, IN; Raymond Reynolds and Thomas Reynolds, both of Bethel Springs; eleven grandchildren and one gr-grandchild. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> FRANKIE MAE MITCHELL, 89, of Selmer, died Dec. 31, 1997 of heart failure at Covington Health Care Center.
