    3. The Hardin County history pages have changed servers, and the new one at AFO.NET is a dream to deal with. The address is the same. Although not an overall change in the pages, they have been updated, and new materiel was added. We started a new Church History page, and presently you will only find Union Valley CP and First UMC there. More will be added as people are gracious enough to submit. Only churches which have a history beyond 1900. More links were added to "War comes to Hardin County" The crew lists of the gunboats USS Tyler and USS Lexington involved at Shiloh, courtesy of Gary Matthews, and a story about civilians on the Shiloh battlefield just before the battle, by Tony Hays. Also by Tony, a story about war heroes Bolden R. Harrison, and McGarity, whom the new bridge at Savannah is named for. If you have access to Church histories in Hardin County which go back past 1900, please share with us. If you have comments, good or bad, about the website, please let me know. Go check us out -- the pages will have a new feel, and we have a new search engine that works beautifully and reports to us what is being searched for (not who searched) This will help us help you. www.hardincountytn.com/history/ Bill Darnell
