    3. Jane, I have not been able to reach David Russell, so sent a message on Russells to the list instead. I am looking to a possible connection between the Russells and the Polks. Charles T. Polk died in Hardin Co. in 1839. His widow, Catherine, and a son, Marion A. Polk sold what remained of the family farm to James Russell in 1860.
