Since I have had several queries about the Hardin County Historical membership post, I am going to just spill the beans here. The Society has undergone some changes in the last year or so, and seems to be taking on a welcome new vigor, with new faces, a better web site, and other things. We invite anyone interested in Hardin County History to join us. The dues are $20/yr.. This includes a subscription to the "Historian," our Society's journal. At present, there are only two large issues of the "Historian" mailed per year, but they have as much content as approximately two of the older format quarterlies had. However, we may be in the process of returning to the quarterly format. Due to internet promotion via our web page, etc., our membership seems to be surging. Hitt. Also, be on the lookout for a listing of all the old issues of the "Historian" complete indexes; you will be able to order any or all if you want!
