I am hoping someone can help with any information on J.W. BROWN, born February 26, 1835 in Hardin County. His father was JOHN BROWN and his mother was SARAH GARNER. J.W. was married three times: (1) PATIENCE VASSAR, (2) EMILY SLOAN and (3) MARTHA GARNER. J.W. and Emily had seven children. Four of the children were: HENRY, AMANDA, GEORGE W., and SARAH E. J.W. and Martha were the parents of MINNIE A., IDA M. and REUBEN A. There is a possibility that in 1862 J.W. enlisted in Company B, Col. White's regiment and during six months of service was in the Battle of Crane Hill. He left the service due to rheumatism. The family migrated to Clay County, Arkansas but, I am not sure when. I am finding too many blocks. Can anyone help me? In advance, I thank you.
