Lisa. Company "D" of the 19th did not fight at Shiloh as that regiment was not officially organized until October 3, 1862. Company D, men from Lawerence County, under Capt. Lewis M. Kirk was organized on August 31, 1862. Biffle was probably at Shiloh, as he was associated with two other units before the 19th.
