Looking for ANY information about JOE COATNEY b ca 1905 from Hardin County. Joe is the brother of my dad, Sam Coatney. Joe's first and only appearance comes in the 1910 census of Hardin County. In this enumeration, Joe, age 5, is found in the household of Will Hawkins as a stepson. The household was in Civil District 1, around the Swift area. His mother, Dollie Snodgrass Coatney, married Will B Hawkins October 24, 1909 following the death of her husband, Bob Coatney.
