    3. Sharon, There is a Bethel Springs, and a Nixon Community. The Purgamas Cemetery is near Nixon. Bethel Springs is in McNairy County TN about 30 miles west, however, you may be referring to Bethel Church which is also near Nixon and is near Bethel Branch.? Bethel, a very old cemetery, is located at Bethel Church. Most anyone in the area can point out these Cemeteries. Reason Keaton was shown buried in Purgamas Cemetery by the 1980 Hardin County Cemetery Census. The Hardin County Library is located in Savannah, TN. The have very good resources for this area.
