A new article has been posted by Tony Hays about the archaeology digs which are going on at Shiloh Indian mounds. You sill see the link down below the effigy pipe on the homepage. Excerpt: "It's morning at Shiloh. No clouds today, and a cool breeze coats the landscape. The sun rises slowly over the Tennessee River as a young woman leans down into a three foot trench cut into a small mound. She holds a blue dust pan in her hand, scraping it across the dirt floor of the trench. An odd sight. Especially when, you consider the location- the Indian mounds at Shiloh National Battlefield. And the young lady in question isn't cleaning up, despite the dust pan." www.hardincountytn.com/history Bill
