Can someone please help me with this family. My gg-grandmother is Mary E. Macklene/Maclin b. 10 1 1838 in ?, d. 5 3 1902 in Giles County, TN buried in Minor Hill Cemetery. She married George Washington Davis b. 4 29 1834 in Marshall County, TN, d. 11 22 1905 in Giles County, TN. Mary and her parents were in Hardin County in the 1850 census. I have the following children listed: Samathia Emerline DAvis W.N.L. Davis George Lawson DAvis Nannie C. Davis Bruce Sackfield Davis Charles Lavan Davis Clack Walton Davis Mary Jane Davis Frank Meredith Davis Lucins Ollie Davis Vianna Virgie Davis I think the children were all born in Marshall County, TN. except Vianna Virgie and she was born after they moved to Giles County. I found a Maclin line with the names Clack and Sackfield and wondered if it was the same line because of the names. I have been told that Mary was 1/2 Indian but have no proof. Thanks, Debbie Parks
