Moved from Coleman, Tx to Carlsbad, NM in 1939.  She was a member of the Baptist Church since she was 13 yrs old. Her son, Benjamin Perry Crabb of Artesia, recently gained statewide attention for his discovery of the fossil of a prehistoric animal east of Carlsbad. In addition to her son, she is survived by her husband, who reside at the family home at 2316 WEst Idaho;  3 daughters, Mrs Mable B. Sides and Mrs Dollie May Thomas, both of Carlsbad, NM; and Mrs Mattie Lue Davis of Lamy;  4 brothers  O  W  CALHOUN of Coleman, Tx.; Paul Calhoun of Little Rock, Ar;  A D Calhoun of Cross Plains, Tx.;  and Jason KILE of Sherwood, Tx.  3  sisters, Mrs Lizzie Montgomery of Georgetown, Tx; Mrs Alice Dubois of Coleman and Mrs Lavonia Redding of Modesto, Ca.   16 grand-children and 30 great-grand-children.
