She is from Wayne Co., TN) Don Bishop of the Stovall Family Association cannot place Pinkney Gilbert in with any line from the ancestor Bartholomew Stovall or any of his other descendants. My Dorcas (Pinson) Austin, grand-daughter of Delilah Stovall (grand-daughter of Bartholomew) settled in Hardin Co., TN at Hollands Creek. Stephen and Dorcas had a daughter Rebecca who married 1815-1817 in Lincoln Co., TN to James Gray, son of Alexander Gray and Mary Warren. Some of their children stayed in Lincoln Co., TN but Rebecca and James had several children who settled in Wayne Co., TN and married families there. Hortan and Lindsey to name a few.
