Appreciate hearing from anyone with info about my great-aunt, FLORA D. EVANS, b 1878, TN, married a Mr. J.W. JONES sometime in 1899. It is thought they might have had a daughter named, JEAN JONES. 1880 Perry Co., TN, Census, Civ.Dist. 5, ED 145, Sheet 5, Line 10, Enumeratred with MARY A. HOWELL (Flora's grandmother). Marriage Records, 1899, Wayne Co., TN. Family legend says J.W. Jones and Flora D. (Evans) Jones supposedly had a grocery store in Memphis, TN (this is unconfirmed).
