My 2nd great-grandmother was Mary Emily Stockard, born June 3, 1844, in Maury County, TN. She died December 5, 1887, and is buried at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Indian Creek, Wayne County. In 1858, she married John Sinclair II, born Jan. 1831, died Wayne Co., TN. d. Oct. 15, 1891, Sinclair Family Farm, Wayne Co. (near Lutts). May Stockard is known to have had at least three brothers, whose names were George, Sim and Felix. Felix was killed in CW and is buried near Bowling Green, KY. I have a good Sinclair family history going back to the 1700's in Ireland which I can share. I would like to know if anyone knows if John Sinclai II had Civil War service, and if so, which army & unit. I have nothing on Mary Emily Stockards parents and need help with them. Thanks, Jim Davis
