Renea, Some of those shown below in the 1850 census of Hardin Co., appear to be the family of Reuben White of Bertie Co. NC, who died in Hardin Co., TN before 2 June 1846. Thomas White was appointed by the court as guardian of Reuben's minor heirs. His widow was Ledicy. Thomas was a son, Meady probable, and Elijah a possibility. By 1860, Ledicy (household 1484) moved from the 2nd to the 13th C. D. and was living near Meady White (hh 1480). Samuel R. DeLaney and wife Nicy were living in hh 1483. I can probably scrape up some more information on this family if anyone is interested. Does anyone have any information of Elijah White?
