Samuel Russel DELANEY married ca 1854 to Nicy. I have been told that she was a WHITE, perhaps the daughter of James WHITE. Nicy was born in 1830. The marrieage probably took place in Hardin County since that was where Samuel was living and where the 2 lived according to the 1860 census. Is anyone working this line or know anything about the WHITE family of Nicy ? Or perhaps she was not really a White ? I found in the 1850 census for Hardin Co a Ledicy White age 54 who had a daughter Nicy age 20 . Could this have been her mother ? Between the 1880 census and 1884, Samuel and his family moved to Greenville, TX. Thanks for any help.
