My Great Grandmother Nancy McCormack and my Great Grandfather James Erwin Baker were supposedly married in Hardin County Tenn. I know that James Erwin went to school there because I have one of his school books "The History of Hardin County" It's dated 1840. I can't find any information on my great grandmothers side of the family. I have an abundance of pictures for a family named Sanderson but have no one who can tell me how we are connected to them. One of the photographs has a picture of a baby and the name Sanderson. It is addressed to Nancy Baker. Under that it says grandmother but it isn't the same handwriting. As far as I know this was her only marriage. Does anyone have anything that could help me out? I would appreciate any help. Thanks for the help Angel Emery Herb Abrams wrote: > Benny, > > I checked the 1880 Hardin Co. census today and found your James McLean > family.
