Fellow Hardin county researchers, I am reposting a previous query about the Johnson Family. I have come to a deadend with Alva. I know something about one son (Luther) who moved to Texas. Luther became president of Trinity College which still exists today. But Luther died without children. Any leads, relations or connections, stories, etc would be a great help and would be appreciated! David ======================= Primary research interest: Alva JOHNSON and family Secondary interest: HUDIBURGH family I am trying to locate any information that I can related to Alva Johnson. He died in 1887 and is buried at Bethleham Cemetery (in Hardin county), and he was a pastor/teacher with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Alva's daughter was married to Gibson Hardin Hudiburgh, also a CP minister. Alva was also a confederate soilder, with the 27th Tennessee inf. He was in Purdy (McNairy County) before the civil war and was president of Purdy College. Thanks for your help. David Agnew
