Searching for info on John L. FIELDER b. abt 1798 NC. Living in Hardin County in 1850. I think most of his children were born in Lauderdale County, Alabama. His son, Franklin L. Fielder m. Sarah Snellgrove, a daughter of William SNELLGROVE who lived in Hardin County in 1850-60. I never found William Snellgrove again. John L. Fielder went on to Greene Co. Arkansas. (1860) Who was John L. Fielder's father? Also in the 1850 Hardin County census was listed an older man named William Fielder that was living with his daughter, Tamera Fielder CREEL and her husband James Madison CREEL. Is this William Fielder possibly the father of my John L. Fielder? My Fielder's go to Greene/Polk/Sevier Co. Arkansas, Fulton/Hickman Kentucky, Erath/Red River/Grayson/Cooke Counties, Texas, Marshall County, Oklahoma. If you have families from these counties look at my web page and see if we have any surnames in common. Kaye http://members.aol.com/kae1995/
