    3. JBC, I don't believe they will let you copy those old books. If you don't overload me, I will read the deeds and get you the genealogical information, or property location if that is what you need. 2. David Cagle
    3. Jimmie, I am not related to the Brumleys, however, the Brumleys were from Cerro Gordo and were neighbors to my ancestors. The Brumleys lived very close to Harmony Church and very close to where I now live. Smith D. Meadows was a neighbor to the Brumleys. He had a large family of girls and one son. Is that name different from your name Meadors? Ms. Luella H. Brumley, b. 02/27/1871, d. 04/10/1926 was the wife of John H. Smith, b. 07/15/1862, d. 12/20/1943. John's mother, Edna Deba Cagle Smith, was my g/g/aunt. That is about as close kin to the Brumleys as I can claim. With that said, what can I do to help you? 2. David Cagle
    3. Bud, Good to hear from you again. We are talking about two different David Reeds. I am looking for David M. Reed, 28 TN, in 1860. His wife was Louisa, 26 AL, and sons William, 7 TN and Jesse, 5 TN. There was a David Reed in F Company, 14th Tennessee Cavalry Regiment, CSA, and a David Reid in the 6th Inf. and 55th Inf., CSA. All of these were West Tennessee Units. David M. Reed was the son of Amzi Reed and was killed at the Amzi Reed House on Tennessee Highway 69 south of Savannah, while on leave. He was killed by Union Bushwhackers during the late war. David ---------------- Bud Davis wrote: > David --- > > I have a DAVID B. REED, born 1844, died 1874 in Hardin county. I have not been able to find out for sure where my gt, gt, gt, grandfather was born, nothing about his wife Nancy Henderson, or where they were married. The second generation I have found out quite a lot about most of them,. Except for David Phillips who supposedly moved to Louisville and married and had no children and James M. Phillips who fell out of a tree and was killed. Betty

    3. Inez, Eli and Thomas Cupples were members of Company A, 21st Wilson's Tennessee Cavalry Regiment, CSA, organized in 1863 in Hardin County largely from other units. It appears that Eli and Thomas may have originally belonged to B Company, 31st Tennessee Infantry Regiment, CSA, organized in McNairy Co., TN in 1861. I don't know why Eli does not show in the 1860 or 70 census for Hardin Co. David
