Hello everyone. I'm looking for info on the marriages of Elizabeth and Eleanor BRANDON or BRANNON. They were shown living with their parents, Philip and Malinda "Brannon" in the 1850 census in Hardin Co. but neither one of them are in that household in the 1860 Hardin Co. census. I'm assuming that they both married between 1850 and 1860 and that the marriage could have taken place, most likely, in Hardin, Wayne or Lauderdale Co., AL. If someone should have the resources and the opportunity, could you please check the marriage records to see if either of these are listed? Thanks a bunch! Be well. Tracy

I just received my gg grandfather's civil war file from the National Archives. It contained copies of all of his company roll calls from the time he enlisted until the time he was discharged. While the record did provide me with some info that I did not have, I'm wondering if there are any other type of records related to his military service that might be available. Also, I would like to find out more about the company that he served with. Do any of you know of any sources that I might check into? Philip Brandon, Pvt., Capt. Green's Co., 1 Reg't Middle Tenn. Renea, Some of those shown below in the 1850 census of Hardin Co., appear to be the family of Reuben White of Bertie Co. NC, who died in Hardin Co., TN before 2 June 1846. Thomas White was appointed by the court as guardian of Reuben's minor heirs. His widow was Ledicy. Thomas was a son, Meady probable, and Elijah a possibility. By 1860, Ledicy (household 1484) moved from the 2nd to the 13th C. D. and was living near Meady White (hh 1480). Samuel R. DeLaney and wife Nicy were living in hh 1483. I can probably scrape up some more information on this family if anyone is interested. Does anyone have any information of Elijah White? Does anyone , Wood or Austin have any knowledge of Wood family married into the Austin family in Hardin County. I was told my grandfather had been married before my grandmother to an Austin, his name was Frank Wood I do not have a wife or a date, I was told thet had a few children all but one died , his name was Taft Wood. Taft Wood was from Hardin County, and had a daughter, I have no names for them. Taft was born around 1910-1920, his father Frank was born 16 Oct 1883. Looking for information relating to Jehue M COOPER born 25 July 1825 in TN. In particular I am trying to track down his parents. Jehue (Listed in some indexes as John) resided in Hardin Co., TN from at least 1850 until his death, which is believed to be 8 August 1862. Exact place of death is not known, but is believed to be Hardin Co., TN. Jehue was married to Rebecca E M Covey, 5 January 1847.
