Could someone please check on this cemetery location, and why my names MICHAEL didn't show up, if the cem. is in Hardin Co., TN. Also, is Scott Cemetery in Hardin Co., TN or Lauderdale Co., AL? 2. Thomas Enterprises
    3. It's me again y'all. I'm wondering if any of you have a connection to the WORLEY family and would have some idea of the maiden name of David C. WORLEY's wife in the 1860 census of Hardin Co. Her name is Elizabeth and they live within three households of Philip and Melinda "BRANNON". There are two children listed, George, 3 and William, 1. I believe that David's parents were Issac and Elizabeth WORLEY who are listed in the 1850 census with children: David C., 16; Daniel, 15; Polly E., 12; William L, 10; Joseph A., 7; Valentine, 5; John A., 2; and Sarah L., 1/12. There were several WORLEY families that settled in Hardin Co. I found many listed in the 1980 Hardin Co. Cemetery Census on the Hardin Co. homepage. As always, any help is greatly appreciated! Be well. Tracy

    3. Confederates, et al Following are 16 members of "G" Company that made application to the State of Tennessee for a pension for their service in the Confederate Army. These pension applications give some information about the company. I will be happy to share and swap information with descendants of these soldiers. 1. James Monroe Barnhill 2. Charley Cagle 3. Jemes George Dickson 4. James W. Doyle 5. Daniel P. Gant 6. Solomon F. Harbour 7. Thomas J. Hardin 8. Watkins "Watt" Hardin 9. J. R. McFall 10. Alexander H. Neill 11. William J. Nesbitt 12. Redden Washington Reynolds 13. G. H. "Ham" Smith 14. Sion F. Tatum 15. William H. Turner 16. Francis Marion White I am currently putting together a roster of "G" Company from several sources and will welcome any help I can get. The Company was formed ca October 21, 1861 and operated in West Tennessee as an independent Company under the leadership of Capt. Charles Sevier Robertson until April 1, 1862, at which time the First Confederate Cavalry Regiment was organized at Spring Creek in Madison Co., TN. Prior to joining the First, the Company was known as the "Hardin County Yankee Hunters." The Company Flag included a Masonic Symbol with the letter "G" which explains why it was designated "G" Company. I have a picture of the Flag if anyone is interested. Send me a message and I will email an attachment. HELP! David
