    3. Robyn, 1. Give me the name and I will check the Cemetery Census to see if a marker exists. The graves are not numbered such that you can find it on the ground. But if the grave has a marker, it can be located within a short while. 2. You are probably referring to West Tennessee State Mental Institution at Bolivar in Hardeman Co., TN. It is about 60 miles west of Savannah. I don't know much about that hospital as I have manages to stay away from there so far. You could probably write or call the hospital to see what records they have. The Address is probably Bolivar, TN. I don't know the zip. 3. Sounds like you are talking about a Trust Deed where someone is mortgaging their property. Send me a for instance, and I'll see what it is, or give me a book and page. 4. At one time TVA published a roster of retirees. I don't think I have gotten one for two or three years. You could get hold of TVA in Knoxville, and their information could probably tell you who to contact. I have some copies of county records, but I can't seem to make much sense of some of the entries. I need some reference that outlines some of the property & land laws of Hardin County in the mid 1800's. For example, I see one person making various bills of sales & deeds to a person one year, & then 2 years, the exact opposit transaction. Wat is taking place, a loan?? 4. And Rebecca Lindsey Had 3 children. In the 1830 census of Wayne Co. Tn. Showes Them with 2 white males 15 to 20 and 1 white female 20 to 30. Sylvester And Phillip were listed as head of their own households. I belive that my gggrandfather Anderson Lindsay ey born 1800 to 1810 May have been one of the 2 males liveing with them in 1830. John and Rebecca must have had 1 or 2 children that have not been identified. Does anyone have any idea the other 2 people were. Thomas H. Lindsay ___________________ Tom, I have Sylvester, Philip, and William Orin Lindsey as three children of John L. & Rebecca (Anderson) Lindsey. There may be others that nobody has found. William Orin was born about 1811, and his childrens' births range from 1832-1844. He died prior to 1850 Census, and his wife Mary is in the 1850 Census, Wayne Co., TN, 10th dist., fam 1002/1014. Anderson Lindsey, your gggrandfather, may be named after his mothers maiden name? What do you have as to where he was in location to our other Lindsey lines throught the 1830, 1840 and 1850 Census, and his family lines afterward. My line from Philip and Franky (Sharp) went to Lindsey Branch at Gravely Springs, in Lauderdale Co., AL over by Wright. My mother, Shirley Jean (Wood), a ggggranddaughter, died Dec 13, 1998, so I'm slow on replies to everyone. Debbie Cossey Wasserburger (GenMaster) for more Lindsey names check http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Prairie/7578 which needs to be updated.

    3. I'm looking for the family of John and Martha Walker Martin. John died sometime before 1830 (as it appears that Martha is living with her parents in Hardin Co.) This is what I have on the family John Martin (age over 21 in 1818) Martha Martin b 1800 to Ephraim and Mary Beauchamp Walker Children: son - b abt 1816 son - b abt 1816 daughter - b abt 1818 daughter - b abt 1820 daughter - b abt 1825 Was listed on the IL 1818 state census: #19 John Martin - 1 male over 21 - 4 all other whites Sorry I don't have more. Martha's brother John B Walker did LDS Temple work in 1842 when he moved to Navuoo IL. So, John Martin has died prior to 1840 [prob 1830] (1840 is when John B left Tishomingo Co MS for Navuoo). If anyone has ANY information on this family, please contact me. It is rumored that Martha married later married a man by the name of Richard Smith (but not John Cain's Richard Smith).
