We have added a little more to www.hardincountytn.com/history/ ! Now have a few family Bible records. Added Capt. Irwin family picture and a short biography in the "Notable Hardin Countians" area. With help from Ron Shank, overhauled the form page to submit civil war soldiers burials. It now shows what you entered on the page it is being posted to. There are several hundred soldiers listed, both Union and Confederate, who are buried outside the national cemeteries. If you know of a grave you want to memorialize, while helping other researchers, please enter it here. Help to preserve cemeteries in your local area . All of us know of some which will probably fade away in our lifetime. Some new links have been added in genealogy. We would like submissions from any of you who have ANYTHING which would fit on the website. You can help make it even better. If anyone has a homepage or genealogy link you want added, let me know. So go visit the site, and be sure to use the search feature. You might be surprised what will turn up. The search engine is updated once each week. ------------and, let us know how we are doing!
