    3. Bill and List, Hurricane Church and Cemetery can be reached from Milledgeville which is located at the intersection of TN Hwy 22 and TN Hwy 69. Take Hwy 69 east from Milledgeville toward Saltillo, cross Middleton Creek and take the next left. Go north on a county road about 2 and 1/4 miles, turn right go 1/2 mile. >From Saltillo, go west on TN Hwy 69 for about 4 and 3/4 miles to the Lebanon Community, turn right on a county road, go north for about 2 and 1/2 miles to Hinkle, turn left and go west about 1 mile to Hurricane Church and Cemetery. 2. I am researching the LEWIS, HUBANKS, PRYOR(PRIOR) and CARROLL lines. I have gathered a lot of information from a relative by the name of MARTHA TATUM AND EUGENE TATUM, but have lost contact with them. Could someone help me out with a new address or a relative I could contact. They have a daughter, MARY LOUISE FLETCHER, but can't find her either. I have the LEWIS line back to RICHARD, b abt 1827, possibly in England and immigrated when just a boy to NC. He m (1) EUPHEMIA BALDRIDGE, (2) NANCY ADAMS, (3) LOUISA DORTCH PEARSON. Some seem to think his first name was WALTER(?) His son, ALEXANDER JAMES, with wife #2, ADAMS, was my ggrandfather. Alexander's sister was MARTHA I need to know his birth, death, where buried, and marriage dates, when immigrated, where from. 3. Gentlemen: I'm trying to locate the grave of Jesse Bobo GANT (GANTT) and his wife, Rachel Kiser GANT. Jesse was born in l794 and died in 1846. Most of my GANT relatives are buried at Shady Grove cemetery, but Jesse is not there or his grave is umarked. His brother, Absalom B. GANT is buried at Mt. Hebron in Wayne Co and I have a list of the GANTs buried there thanks to Edgar Byer. I would appreciate any help you or anyone on this list could give me. Sylvia Gant

    1. [TNHARDIN-L] New article by Tony Hays
    2. Bill Darnell
    3. A new article has been posted by Tony Hays about the archaeology digs which are going on at Shiloh Indian mounds. You sill see the link down below the effigy pipe on the homepage. Excerpt: "It's morning at Shiloh. No clouds today, and a cool breeze coats the landscape. The sun rises slowly over the Tennessee River as a young woman leans down into a three foot trench cut into a small mound. She holds a blue dust pan in her hand, scraping it across the dirt floor of the trench. An odd sight. Especially when, you consider the location- the Indian mounds at Shiloh National Battlefield. And the young lady in question isn't cleaning up, despite the dust pan." www.hardincountytn.com/history Bill
