Rick, I don't mean to be nosy, but just thought that I would help out a bit. I found this in the book - Extracts of "Wills-Estate Settlements and Guardian Bonds of Hardeman Co TN" John McGee - Will - Bk 3 pg 111 John McGee WILL 6 July 1836 Wife: Nancy McGee children: does not name Exec: Wf. McGee (seal) Recorded : May Term 1855 ************************************************************** So Rick - it looks to me like the only child mentioned that I can find is Charles W. McGee whose Will is that one above with his mother as the Executor, with him dying prior to Nov 15, 1854 I looked in the other books that I own - "The Hardeman Free Press 1895-1918" "The Bolivar Bulletin Vol 1 1866-1900" and "Hardeman County Historical Sketches" and then the new book I just got "Wills and Settlements" that I mentioned above. If there is anything else that I can do for you, let me know. Mindy Thompson [email protected]
