Hello, I am descended from John Makemie Wilson Matthews, son of Alexnader Sloan Matthews and Elizabeth Hall, and his wife, Amanda Tate Allen who was the daughter of John Allen and Nancy Caroline Morton. John Matthews was born in Irdell Co., NC and came to TN at a young age. Amanda was born in Whiteville. Can anyone help furnish more information on these families? THank you, Jason
