I am seeking any information on the following individual. His name is in question as there were 2 Williams' in the family. This william, was born abt 1825, in Johnston Co, NC, the first or second child of William and Sarah Ingram Powell. The family moved to Hardeman Co, TN, abt 1828-1829. and, in all, 10 children were born. The 8th child, named William Raiford Bryant Powell. Why 2 Williams, Did the first die?
