Folks, Over the next few days, Rootsweb will be making some changes to it's Smartlist software (the software that manages email lists) that will "bounce" any email that contains an "attachment" or is not in "ASCI" coding. This will effect every email list hosted on the Rootsweb servers, not just the Hardeman Co List. It will not effect "private" emails, only those to the Lists. What this means is that any email that you send to the Hardeman Co. list that contains an "attached" file, or is written in HTML, "Rich Text Format", MIME, styles, etc. will be rejected by the Rootsweb servers and returned to you, un-sent to the list. Should you post an email that is rejected and you don't understand why, please contact me for help in correcting the problem. Rootsweb hosts thousands of genealogy email lists and has instituted this change in response to complaints from the various listowners and list members. Thanks, Susie Susie Jourdan - Grant [email protected] Listowner for TNHARDEM-L ( History and Family research in Hardeman Co. TN.) Home Page: Branches and Twigs http://home.earthlink.net/~krista3
